ERASMUS+ROMANIA/Day 1 in Suceava

The first day of our Erasmus project began when we left Rapallo to get to Treviso airport and take our flight to Suceava.
Even though the plane was a bit late, we flew to Suceava around 11.30 a.m.
After a two-hour flight, we finally arrived in Romania and were warmly welcomed by our host families.
Everyone reached their accommodation and we had some free time to eat, unpack and rest after such a long journey.
Around 5 p.m. we had the opportunity to meet other Erasmus students, we introduced ourselves and started socializing and getting to know each other. We also had a tasty hot drink in a café before heading to the mall and going shopping (what a fantastic treat when it snows outside!). It was such a pleasure to meet those guys, and spend some time together during our first afternoon in a city we had never been to!
The next few days will be filled with some trips, daily projects, and opportunities to learn about a new culture.
Romania is a country full of interesting things and we will probably experience something different from what we are used to seeing and experiencing in our everyday lives.
We really can’t wait!

On Tuesday, we had the great opportunity to attend some English classes and meet other teachers and students (some of them were way younger than us!). They were so curious and had a lot of questions about our country.
After that, we went to the computer room and started creating our ebook.
Later, we had some free time and met other students in the school cafeteria (it is our daily ritual!!). After a few chats, we went to the school gym.

We changed our clothes and were ready for another adventure: “Capoeira classes”. It was funny and the trainer was a famous person in Romania!

Maybe the best part of the day was when we started playing a football tournament between students coming from different countries (it was a sort of European students’ football champions league!).
We can’t wait to have other exciting adventures in the next few days…time flies when you are having fun!
