Erasmus is a must-take opportunity for all students during high school. It is a beautiful experience that you get to enjoy with your classmates.

Last year I went to Spain, to a city next to Madrid, Navalmoral de la Mata. It is a small city, but we had a great time there. We met students from Italy, Greece, Poland and Turkey.

Our day would start with activities at the school. We worked in groups to create a story about how social media can affect our lives. By the end of the week, we had made a short video with our stories and we presented them to the teachers and parents. One day we had a trip to an indoor space with climbing walls, and another day we went to Caceres, a city nearby. In Caceres, we visited the old town and found out that it is the place where the final season of ‘’Game of Thrones’’ was filmed.

Besides the activities and trips we had, we met every afternoon and spent time together. All the dancing, singing, and laughing showed how great our time was. Our hosts were the best. We enjoyed every minute spent together. The week spent in Spain will remain in my heart forever and I am grateful that I had the opportunity to be part of an Erasmus project. Spending a week with students from different countries is a life experience I recommend taking.

Erasmus taught me about a new country and its culture but also gave me new experiences and most importantly new friends!
