Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, students are not advised to visit relatives as they used to. But does that mean you cannot meet anyone who lives far away from you?

Not necessarily, because many of them decided to use the power of technology and prepare online Christmas Eve meetings, especially between students and teachers.

In many places in Poland, like Warsaw, or smaller ones, like Sulęcin, a lot of people prepared online meetings, where they enjoyed the time together. Although the only heat you can feel is the one from your computer, the atmosphere is warm for sure. They mostly spent their time eating Christmas dishes like ‘Borscht’ while talking or even played games like chess or charades.

It was a creative way of spending Christmas Eve together. This method ended up being much safer than actually meeting in real life, so not only do you have an opportunity to meet your relatives, but you also decrease odds of catching the disease.
