ERASMUS+ POLAND/Trip to Poznan

On our third day of Erasmus+ in Poland, September 20th, we visited Poznan, a city on the Warta River in western Poland. It is known for its universities and the old town, with the Renaissance buildings and the old market square.

We left Suleçin at 7 a.m. with a bus and during the travel we sang all together.

At 9.30 a.m. we arrived at Poznan and we visited the beautiful Cathedral of the city, then we moved to Porta Posnania, a museum which attracts its visitors with a multimedia display, educational workshops, cultural events and tours.

Later we went to Plac Kolegiacki, a square acknowledged by a tall monument at its centre that is called the ‘Clock of History’. There are glass windows in the surface of the square showing the church foundations and artefacts below.

At 1 p.m we had lunch at a typical Polish restaurant where we ate fried meet with carrots and potatoes.

In the afternoon we had a pastry course at Croissant Museum, we baked our croissants and we tasted it. Then all together we walked to the mall and we went shopping.

At 5 p.m. we came back home.

It has been a very long but beautiful day: we met people and made new friends! I can’t believe this experience is almost coming to an end. The guys I’ve met here are truly special, it feels like I’ve known them forever. I’m sure I will never forget this experience.
